Modern Space Music tells all !!
Major Tom's Story...with thanks to Wikipedia

Major Tom was almost the first to land on the moon. He was beaten by astronauts from a European duchy by less than a minute. The resulting humiliation for his home country, the United States of America, purportedly led JFK to fake his own death.

The tragedy was compounded on his return to space for another attempt at a Moon visit, when his Apollo capsule was lost in space .His last words were  "we have a problem." Though his spaceship still seemed to know which way to go, he never broadcast again.

Perhaps out of some remorse for depriving him of his triumph, Gloriana XII, Grand Duchess, paid for the construction of an antenna that to this day broadcasts on loop, "Ground Control to Major Tom: Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong. Can you hear me Major Tom?" It is on the same band as several rock stations, and in appropriate atmospheric conditions sometimes will be picked up by a radio tuned to them instead of the actual music broadcast, causing much confusion.

For example, the true lyrics to a song by David Bowie, written after a prophetic dream, warning us of the approach of a space oddity that will destroy the Earth as soon as next year, have never been heard, and we are all probably going to die as a result. Bowie vehemently denies this to this day and has nothing but scorn for Major Tom calling him a fear monger and leftist leaning galactic gnome.

A rumor told by some is that Major Tom briefly ran a fast food joint on and around Venus. While he had tremendous success in his Earth restaurant, the venture  on the sister sphere was doomed due to the planet's low population, Major Tom, facing financial ruin, is said to have topped himself. But we never knew for sure. However...

He does survive.

Do not ask why or how he survived. Just accept. Today Major Tom lives between Santa Fe, New Mexico and San Jose, California where he records and creates  music for the universe. Pictured to the left is his home studio with the various keyboards used to create MSM on ProTools. He got out of the restaurant business on Venus to secretly return to the Rose Garden neighborhood where he lives with his wife Dara two Scottish Fold cats plus BeBop the chihuahua.  His alien daughter lands on earth occasionally to visit  home. as well as ste  He also loves to create new musical ideas at his home in Girard Gardens in Santa Fe.  Rumor has it that he and his brother Tim are opening a new version of Lou's Village late 2011 in Willow Glen, a wonderful part of old San Jose. This will truly be a restaurant at the end of the universe. Respects to Douglas Adams.

He had never realized his true calling as a musical composer until it all started one night in 2003 as he was looking up into the sky and saw that the planets aligned in a row. From that moment of universal inspiration he knew that the stars were  his source of creativity.  Not ever suspecting how he would get into space again he waited patiently for another sign. It wasn't until summer of 2006 that the omen was shown:  the stars aligned again and he was inspired to create new ideas in music on his KORG OASYS . What came out of those early sessions is now presented as INNER GALACTIC SPRINT, the first volume in the Modern Space Music series .  Volume Two is THE EVER CHANGING COSMIC VOID. Volume Three is TRANS GALAXY MIGRATION and features what the Major feels is his best effort to date.  There are still many volumes to come whenever Tom decides to produce his music.

"Major Tom to Ground Control. Treble clef has landed stand by for more.
This is not New Age music I repeat this is not New Age music".
